... Another Crazy P-Day!!‏

Family and Friends!!
Goodness! Transfer weeks are crazy!! I always end up so tired and worn by the end of them! On Monday of last week I had been told I would be going to the Ponderosa area with Sister Follwell .. However, the Lord likes to trick me, so on Tuesday I got a  call telling me that instead of Ponderosa I would be going to the Explorer Park ward with Sister Kipp! So here I am getting flushed into another ward, not to mention this ward is one of the 3 Sister biking area's in the mission! So I have defiantly got my work cut out for me! But, most of this week has been spent biking and walking... and of course meeting the new members here. The ward is great and I can tell that I am going to love this area already! There is A LOT  of Less-Active work to be done though so I'm ready to jump in and try my best! ... This email is going to be kind of short because this week wasn't too exciting.... Well it was but nothing much to write about. But, I do have one story for all you St. Georgians. The first day we got into our area we had a dinner appointment with a family that just moved into the area. So, we got on our bikes and headed on over, after storing our bikes safely in the garage we went inside where I spotted a picture of the St. George temple and got really excited because that is out of the norm! So of course I asked about it and was talking about how I was from St. George to which Sister Thomas responded 'oh? What area?' and then I went on to explain that I was actually from Washington Utah but saying so confused most people. 'Really? I'm from Washington Utah too! Where in Washington do you live?' 'I live close to the Green Springs Golf course' ... Well to make a long story short. Sister Thomas was previously a Jones ... As in we grew up in the same ward!! It was crazy! This week I have been reading in an old conference ensign and came across a quote from Winston Churchill that I really liked! it says: "To every man there comes … that special moment when he is figuratively tapped on the shoulder and offered the chance to do a special thing unique to him and fitted to his talent. What a tragedy if that moment finds him unprepared or unqualified for the work which would be his finest hour.” I love this quote! We hear so many times that we must cultivate our talents but when put in this perspective it gave me a new sense of urgency. If there was ever a time when God called me to do something and I was found unprepared I think I would be crushed and heartbroken!! So, I have tried really hard to use and develop my talents so when the time comes I am ready to answer the call! I love you all!
Love,
Sister Bice
